Apple and Lemon Fruit Smoothie

  • 2 apples
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons low fat vanilla yoghurt
  • 3 ice cubes



  • 1 teaspoon flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter
  • 1 handful baby spinach

Core the apples and squeeze the juice from 1/2 lemon. Add the ice to the blender (you can blend this separately if you like). Then add the other ingredients including any of the optional items you like. Blend for around 45 to 60 seconds until smooth, pour and serve.
